“I’ve used many farriers in the last 30 years, but I can honestly say that Andrew Grimm is the most dependable, professional farrier I have encountered. Andrew is prompt, friendly, and he takes great pride in his work. Don’t let his youth fool you – Andrew works tremendously hard to maintain and increase his knowledge in equine hoof care. He spends a great deal of time and money attending the best clinics available, regardless of the location. After shipping a horse from Iceland to our farm, Andrew discovered a case of white line disease that had developed with an old gravel incident that we did not see with our routine hoof care. Thanks to Andrews diligent attention, we have been able to restore the horse’s hoof to complete health, without ever losing a day of riding!”

“I have known Andrew Grimm for about five years now. I started using him as my back up farrier but he quickly became my farms main farrier. Andrew is devoted to making the horses happier and making them go better. He places a huge value on the owner/trainer insight and knowledge of the individual horse. He is always learning and works closely with other more established farriers to continue his education. He is willing to try different things if I ask him too or do what the vet advises. I buy sell and train horses for a living, so a farrier that will listen and is open to my and others opinions is irreplaceable. Andrew gets along with the horses very well. He disciplines those that need it but has never been abusive with any of my horses. He does a great job being quiet and patient with the babies and greenies. Horses are still wild animals to an extent so in order to be safe around them, one must be responsible. Andrew is reliable and respectful to both the animals and my clients. He is always on time, normally early, and makes it out quickly, usually a day or two, when a shoe needs to be fixed. In recent years we have grown to be friends. Andrew is a very hard working, honest and friendly individual. He asks about how the horses and the business are going. He teaches me how to keep up the trims on some of my horses and even how to drive a nail. He is a good, kind hearted person and a talented and reliable farrier. He would be a great addition to any farm, private or commercial.”

“Andrew Grimm has been my farrier for the past 4 years. He is reliable, honest, and does excellent work. He was able to correct a draft/TB cross’s hoof problems while 2 other farriers could not. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is sensitive to the horse’s needs and personality. He is pleasant, flexible to work with, and always on time.”
